Why should I hire a web designer?
To save time. Hiring a web designer will allow you to concentrate
on your business without the hassles of dealing with creating your
own web site. A web designer has the skill to create a quality web
site with efficiency.
Where do I start?
Fill out the contact
form and let
RavenMoon Designs know
what your needs are. You should be as specific as possible. The
following suggestions are a good start:
-
Decide what you want on the web.
-
Set your goals.
-
Organize your ideas.
-
Decide what you want your web site to look like (colors, layout ideas).
If
you'd like a business site, please provide any company brochures
and a company logo if you have them. A web designer gathers as
much information as possible to create a site that meets your needs.
I already have a web site, but I'd like it to look
more professional. Can you help?
Yes. RavenMoon Designs will examine your site, discuss with you
the changes you'd like made and redesign your site.
How long does it take for a web site to be designed?
There are
many factors which determine how long it will take to have a web
site completed. These factors
include how many pages the site
has and the number of graphics used,
whether it's an e-commerce site,
and the availability of you, the client.
Do I have control over the content of my site?
Yes, the general content for the site is provided by you. RavenMoon
Designs may make minor editorial and layout corrections to make
your site more visually appealing.
Do you provide site maintenance or do I need
to do this myself?
RavenMoon Designs does provide site maintenance for a separate
monthly fee. Site maintenance is described as making changes to
the site on a regular basis. However, you will not be charged
for small, one-time changes (i.e. if your email address changes
and you need it updated on your site). You do have the option of
handling the maintenance of your site yourself.
